Hydrolipoclasia is a minimally invasive body contouring procedure designed to reduce localized fat deposits. The treatment involves the injection of a saline solution into the targeted fat layer, followed by the application of ultrasound. This process helps break down fat cells, which are then gradually eliminated by the body’s natural metabolic pathways.
Reduce localized fat that is resistant to diet and exercise
Improve body contours in areas such as the abdomen and flanks
Have bleeding disorders or take blood-thinning medications (consultation required)
Have metal implants or pacemakers in or near the treatment area
Recovery is usually quick. Mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection sites may
occur and generally resolve within a few days. Most patients can resume normal activities
within 24 to 48 hours.
The procedure involves mild discomfort during the injection phase. Some patients may also experience a sensation of pressure or warmth during the ultrasound application. Local anesthesia or numbing cream may be used to increase comfort.
Some reduction in volume may be noticeable within 2 weeks, with more defined results after 4 weeks as the body metabolizes the fat.
A series of 2 to 4 sessions, spaced 1 week apart, is typically recommended for optimal results, depending on the area treated and individual goals.
